My painting is primarily a female face. I was fascinated by eyes and emotions. I was thinking of painting flowers, but I somehow ended up with eyes and face.
I picked rabbits from Japanese zodiac signs ( Eto ). The Eto are Japanese zodiacal animals that form a 12-year cycle. They consist of the rat, ox, tiger, rabbit, dragon, snake, horse, sheep, monkey, rooster, dog, and boar. This year is OX btw.
I love traditional, but I wanted to bring classic to Pop-culture.
